It's so easy to build your own Advent calendar:
With the ingredients from our Advent calendar box you can make a really great Advent calendar with Korean sweets in just a few steps. It works like this:
1. Prepare the information cards
Cut the enclosed pages with the explanations at the dividing lines into 24 small sheets, each with a little information about Christmas in Korea on one side and information about one of the sweets on the other side.
2. Fill the bags with sweets and cards
Put each of the leaves in a bag with the matching candy (the order doesn't matter, but the candy should match each). There are two pieces of candy in each bag.
3. Close the bags and decorate them with the stickers
Close the bags, for example by taping them shut with adhesive tape or simply stapling them together. Stick one of the included stickers on each of the bags.
4. Build a garland out of the filled bags
The stickers represent a garland that belongs next to each other in the order of the numbers. The Korean letters in the middle create several Christmas messages.
Some of the snacks contain ingredients of animal origin such as gelatin and are therefore not suitable for vegetarian, vegan or Muslim diets. Other sweets are made from purely plant-based ingredients, so there is something for everyone.
